新疆知名维权律师张元欣病逝 Nov 8th 2013, 15:16 新疆知名的维权律师张元欣因病医治无效，于11月7号在北京去世。张元欣是北京益仁平中心理事、新疆西部律师事务所主任。北京益仁平中心在讣告中说，张元欣律师长期致力于公益法律和公民维权工作，为我国民间推动的平权运动和国家法治建设做出了令人瞩目的贡献。 2005年和2006年，新疆两所大学和乌鲁木齐市一些中学相继取消乙肝病毒携带者的上学资格。张元欣顶着来自政府的巨大压力，代表当事人起诉政府和学校，成功帮助当事人回到学校。在这之后，中国就接二连三出台了多部法律、法规，禁止乙肝歧视、维护乙肝携带者权益。
