湖南长乐镇要建污水厂 数百村民抗议誓保水源 Nov 2nd 2013, 15:55 湖南汨罗市长乐镇数百名村民10月30号抗议当地建造污水处理厂，与警方发生冲突。据海外的中国茉莉花革命网站刊载图片披露，当地政府出动上百名警察，对村民拳打脚踢，多名村民被打伤，十多名村民被捕。有村民表示，当地没有自来水，饮用水都来自地下，污水处理厂将会污染他们赖以生存的地下水源和产生恶臭气体危害健康，为了子孙后代，他们一定会反对到底。
