湖北襄阳千人堵国道抗议拆迁赔偿不公 Aug 18th 2013, 15:59 8月16号在湖北襄阳市双沟镇，龚咀、吴河两村的上千村民阻断316国道襄阳双沟段示威，抗议拆迁赔偿不公以及高价向村民出售安置房，导致交通瘫痪五小时，车龙长达10公里。 该网站刊登照片显示，有村民举起横幅上写"还我土地，我要吃饭"。据悉，事情起因于政府借口要建设新农村，低价征地后高价卖给开发商修建工业园，官员从中发财，而村民失去赖以维生的土地，还要再补交每套房的差价十多万元。加之修建中的新村出现偷工减料、地基下陷等现象，引起村民不满。
