欧盟官员：刘晖被判刑有"政治动机" Aug 16th 2013, 15:43 中国诺贝尔和平奖得主刘晓波妻子的弟弟刘晖涉嫌"诈骗案"二审维持原判后，欧盟官员表示了遗憾。 刘晖一审被判11年监禁。 据路透社报道，欧盟驻华代表团负责政治事务的官员查尔斯•帕顿说，刘晖被判刑可能和刘晓波和刘霞的境遇有关，因此有可能是有政治动机的。 刘晖一案二审8月16号在北京怀柔一家法院宣判时，帕顿和其他一些外国外交官和记者都不被允许进入法庭旁听。法庭外面戒备森严。 仍处于软禁中的刘霞在前往法院的路上突然身体不适，不得不返回家中而无法出席宣判。 美联社报道说，刘霞的哥哥刘彤表示，刘晖被判刑给刘霞带来很大的压力，使得她本来就不好的身体健康日益走下坡路。
