刘萍被控"非法集会"一案将于十月中旬开庭 Oct 9th 2013, 15:24 江西维权人士刘萍因在街头举牌要求官员公开财产而被以涉嫌"非法集会"罪拘捕，后被追加"聚众扰乱公共场所秩序"、以及"利用邪教组织破坏法律实施"的罪名；该案将于10月中开庭。 刘萍的律师张雪忠呼吁外界关注此案进展，因为它极有可能成为当局对"新公民运动"被捕人士判罪的风向标。 香港明报周三报道说，刘萍的女儿廖敏日前也在微博上呼吁外界关注她母亲的案件，她通过微博透露，她本人被当局要求禁声。 她说，当局要学校告诉她，组织上有条例不允许她接受媒体采访，要不然会受到处分，不向当局报备的采访是违法的。
