京张铁路将动工 行程缩成一小时 Nov 4th 2013, 07:59 河北省张家口市有关部门周一表示，京张城际铁路预计今年底动工，建成后将让张家口纳入北京的「首都1小时经济圈」。 中国官媒报导，京张城际铁路全线长约174公里，设计时速每小时200到350公里之间。铁路建成后，张家口乘坐火车到北京将从现行耗时4、5个小时，缩短到1小时之内。 京张城际铁路从北京开始，经沙城、下花园、宣化到张家口。报导说，京张城际铁路开通后，主要以客运为主；既有的丰沙线则以货运为主，开行少量客车方便沿线居民搭乘；老京张线则保留承担地方货运任务。
